All properties that applied for planning permission on or after January 1st 2007 require a BER to be carried out prior to being occupied.

It is best if the BER is carried out as early in the process as possible so that informed decisions can be made at the design stage on energy efficient materials and technologies so that the best rating is achieved.

One-Off Builds

Most planning authorities require a Provisional BER certificate at the planning application stage. We will carry this out based on the drawings and specifications you provide to us.

Provisional BER Certificate €200

A final BER certificate will be required on completion and this can include updates to the Provisional Certificate if required.

Final BER Certificate €50

Prices quoted are all in and include all SEI administration charges.

Design Stage Consultation

If you are in the design stage of the build Leinster BER Services offers a consultancy service where we work with you to specify heating systems, insulation levels, solar energy systems, window types etc. to achieve the desired result of an energy efficient home.
